fooddance.org Official Launch !!

(revised 09/06/23 - website outline)

It's been a while since I have built out a website. . . I forgot the amount of time it takes to get all of the elements together, particularly when this isn't my solo gig. I am so excited to be officially going live with the website Memorial Day weekend!

Anyone who has spent any length of time with me knows that I am extremely passionate about food and I am grateful to have the opportunity to share that passion and knowledge about food and nutrition with all of you. You can read more about the fooddance.org mission and founding story here: Our Mission

The website will focus on celebrating food, proper nutrition and mindful and sustainable eating.

Here is a quick layout:

Home Page - houses our mission statement, the story of how fooddance.org came about.

Healthy Habits - is a 4-part series that will focus on our relationship with food, along with tips to eat more mindfully and sustainably. There will also be a resources section for educators (coming in Oct).

Food Dance FUN - (launching in Sept/Oct) will house

Play with Your Food, a section for the kids (and kids at heart) that focuses on food science and all of the creative things

outside of just eating that foods can be used for.

Cooking in Couture, a cooking series showcasing quick, nutritious and delicious recipes along with some fun rescued and

donated fashions. I just wanted an excuse to get fancy :) and after each biweekly episode we'll auction off the featured

piece as a fundraiser. Should be a lot of fun!

Recipes, where all of the recipes will live.

Rep 'n' Reward, fun and useful items to support and represent Food Dance that are also environmentally friendly

Blog - highlights our most recent posts and upcoming events and community outreach.

I hope you will join me on this journey, stay engaged and are inspired to make changes for yourself and your community.

Brandy Chenoweth showcases fashion and food with her blue jar sauerkraut.
A cooking in couture sneak preview, who says you can't have fun with rescued fashion and food (that is what aprons are for). This was from the first time I ever sold anything I had made food-wise at a Makers Market in Santa Cruz. I ended up selling out of my Blue Jar Sauerkraut!
